Why this Bumble Queen Bee is Still Buzzin’ with Excitement

Joining Bumble’s Queen Bee program has been a great and bee-utiful adventure. I didn’t know what to expect when I first applied last December, but it truly has been an amazing experience to be a part of this community. There’s nothing more fulfilling than empowering everyone and to represent a brand with values that align with mine. But before I tell you why I’m still buzzin’ with excitement, let me explain what Bumble is.

Bumble is a social networking app that allows women to create empowering connections in love, life, and business. The best part about this organization is its mission to re-write archaic gender roles by promoting equality, respect, accountability, and kindness. So, yes! It is more than just a dating app. This platform offers two different modes other than BumbleDate - BumbleBFF and BumbleBizz.

BumbleBFF allows women to expand their social circle and make meaningful friendships. It’s a great place to connect with other ladies, especially if you’re new in town.

BumbleBizz is for individuals who are interested in growing their professional network. It’s perfect for those who are seeking out mentorships or building their career.

So, what’s the buzz?

I’ve decided to stay on the Queen Bee Program, and continue to raise awareness about this incredible platform and community as a Bumble City Rep! Not only has this program inspired me to #MakeTheFirstMove in all aspect of my life, but it also allowed me to help other women in Las Vegas do the same. I’ve also formed meaningful relationships with some of the most genuine local boss babes in town: Bumble Community Marketing Manager, Laura Rosmann (@laura.rosmann); Bumble Market Lead, But Can I Live Blogger and Content Creator, Kendra Jackson (@kendrajayy) ; Bumble City Rep and Content Creator, Thaina Blot (@thainablot); Bumble City Rep and Social Media Manager, Wallie Vongsvirates (@whereiswallieee); Bumble City Rep, Stylist, and Podcast Host of "How to Be a Baddie,” Ashlynd Tuffentsamer (@ashlyndtuffentsamer).

But wait, there’s more! I’m also ecstatic about Bumble’s new print magazine - Bumble Mag. It’s filled with tips on how to grow a side hustle, self-care secrets, and advice from amazing entrepreneurs like Leandra Medine of the Man Repeller, and tennis icon and Bumble global advisor, Serena Williams.

What do you do for Bumble?

As a City Rep, I am the voice of the brand in Las Vegas. I help spread Bumble’s mission and values, and more importantly - encourage others to download the app and connect with confidence. Honestly, I’ve been having so much fun promoting new campaigns and events that I didn’t even realize that my term was almost up.

How do I get involved?

Keep an eye out for our monthly events on Bumble’s Facebook page or follow the City Reps on social media. Be sure to also download the app, make your first move, and start building your hive!
