Where to Celebrate Lunar New Year in Las Vegas x The Forum Shops
Lunar New Year is all about family reunions, new beginnings, and of course, shopping. It officially begins on February 12th and ends on February 26th. If you want to experience one of the best holidays in the world but have no idea what to do, I've got you covered.
Where to Go: The Forum Shops
I started my Lunar New Year festivities at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and I had the most incredible time! This world-renowned retail destination is ringing in the Chinese New Year with unique retail offerings, red envelopes, and a dazzling dragon display.
What to See: The Dragon
Located near the Fortuna Terrace inside The Forum Shops, this gorgeous dragon is a must-see in Las Vegas. It's 22-ft. long, 6-ft. wide, and 12-ft tall and equipped with 30,000 red and amber LED lights. This grand sculpture also sits on top of a lush red carpet surrounded by hand-painted wood pillars, gold fencing, and red velvet ropes β making it the perfect instagrammable spot for you to capture your Lunar New Year memories.
Where to Shop: Lunar New Year Collections and Promotions
My favorite thing about this holiday is New Year shopping, and just my luck! The Forums Shops retailers have some fantastic special offers.
Montblanc
My first stop was Montblanc! They have beautiful pieces that would make great gifts for Lunar New Year, including goods for travel, writing implements, watches, and jewelry.
Of course, my eyes were drawn to the radiant red Cabin luggage, the most revered color for Chinese New Year. I even got to send out a unique postcard from their store, making my shopping experience quite memorable.
Be sure to stop by! Customers will receive a leather care kit with the purchase of any large leather product and complimentary personalization with any writing instrument purchase (while supplies last).
Tory Burch
If you're looking for something red for good luck, you have to go to the Tory Burch store. They have an AMAZING Lunar New Year collection representing strength and reliability, including a unique handbag called Ozzie the Ox. It features a colorful mix of materials and a surprising detail of last year's Chinese New Year animal, the Rat, in remembrance of 2020 events. It's a great gift to give to your loved ones or to get for yourself.
With a $250+ purchase, Tory Burch shoppers will also receive a cute complimentary face mask and an exclusive Tory Burch red envelope set between February 11th-26th (while supplies last).
Ted Baker
Ted Baker is always a fun store to shop in. It has the most vibrant and joyous environment with its colorful, textured walls. I had the best time trying on their most elegant yet quirky clothes. Check out my favorite pieces on TikTok for some fashion inspiration.
If you are a Ted Baker fan, now is the time to shop. They're offering 10% off with a $175 or more purchase, 20% off $250 or more, and 30% off $300 or more (full-priced items only).
MCM
MCM also has an impressive Lunar New Year collection. From red handbags to Ox accessories, this leather luxury store has the missing piece you need to complete your Lunar New Year outfit. Shoppers will also receive a gift with their purchase.
Where to Eat: Water Grill
One of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, Water Grill, has crafted a special menu for Lunar New Year β and I am so excited. I ordered the sensational Shrimp Shumai topped with Tobiko and served with crispy chili sauce, happiness, and good fortune. It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend you try it! But my favorite was the mouthwatering Garlic Noodles with fresh Jumbo Lump Crab, which represents long joyous life.
The Water Grill also has the most stunning seasonal decor for the Chinese New Year, making it the best restaurant to celebrate the Year of the Ox!
Whether you're getting ready for a long-running family tradition or experiencing the holiday for the first time, The Forum Shops has everything you need to ring in the Chinese New Year. Here's to health, wealth, and happiness!
